Honolulu Pearl Canoe Club is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization paddling to promote the art and spirit of the traditional Hawaiian outrigger canoe.

With teamwork, training, and Aloha, we share the joy of waʻa paddling with our members and continue to serve our communities through extensive volunteer opportunities and community service events.

HPCC is proud to be a co-founding club of the Na Koa Wounded Warrior Canoe Regatta and partner for the Hawaiian Adaptive Paddling Association along with AccessSurf.

OUR MISSION

HPCC stands as a humble pillar within its community, a nonprofit organization deeply committed to safeguarding the rich tapestry of our Hawaiian canoe cultural heritage. Through a multifaceted approach encompassing education, health, wellness initiatives, and extensive community outreach efforts, HPCC not only preserves but also perpetuates the legacy of traditional Hawaiian arts in canoe culture. Central to its ethos is an unwavering dedication to inclusivity, as it serves diverse populations while aspiring to foster increased engagement for ALL within our island community.

At its heart, HPCC embodies proactive pursuits, forging robust partnerships with community organizations to ensure a responsive and adaptive approach addressing contemporary needs as it relates to our Hawaiian canoe heritage. Its overarching mission- to preserve and perpetuate traditional Hawaiian canoe cultural heritage- is not merely a  statement of intent, but a guiding principle that shapes every endeavor undertaken by HPCC.

Anchored by a dedicated cadre of volunteer paddling professionals and committed membership, HPCC stands poised to champion the broader interests of Pacific Island heritage and advocate for the well-being of our Hawaiian canoe culture, thus embodying the spirit of aloha, resilience, and community empowerment.
